The students met for a cup of coffee and shared their social and financial concerns which led them to create an online platform for the purpose of social welfare, networking and financial needs. As a result of this a welfare kitty was started where voluntary contributions were made. As time went by the needs increased and the idea of loaning money to our members was born. This became a source of income through the interest charged on loans advanced to the members.<\/p>\n
The group operated as WYNELINKS AFRICA ENTERPRISE until January 2022 when we acquired our current name WYNELINK Savings & Credit Co-operative Society after being registered under the cooperative acts of the laws of Kenya. This development has created an opportunity for the Sacco to broaden the common bond to accommodate members outside the original Indian alumni.<\/p>\n
