Wynelink Savings & Credit Co-Operative Society is a limited society registered under the cooperative Act of the laws of Kenya. The Co-operative Society is founded by a few Alumni students who studied in India in the fall of 2017 with the objective of promoting the culture of savings for personal development.
The students met for a cup of coffee and shared their social and financial concerns which led them to create an online platform for the purpose of social welfare, networking and financial needs. As a result of this a welfare kitty was started where voluntary contributions were made. As time went by the needs increased and the idea of loaning money to our members was born. This became a source of income through the interest charged on loans advanced to the members.
The group operated as WYNELINKS AFRICA ENTERPRISE until January 2022 when we acquired our current name WYNELINK Savings & Credit Co-operative Society after being registered under the cooperative acts of the laws of Kenya. This development has created an opportunity for the Sacco to broaden the common bond to accommodate members outside the original Indian alumni.
